![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Nowadays, a night out isn’t complete without at least a couple of turns on the microphone between tequila shots. The TV show Sing Along with Mitch might have introduced the idea of the group singalong into people’s homes in the 1960s, but it was the popularity of Karaoke machines in Japan in the early 1970s that led to its boom in the 1980s and beyond. Thankfully we have karaoke, so now complete strangers can get to to fully appreciate what an incredible voice you've got after you've had six pints, half a bottle of Malibu and a chicken skewer for dinner. It’s just that most of the time we don’t get to hear them. Everyone has a song in their heart somewhere. ![]()
